As children we are taught ` the early bird catches the worm’ which means that success comes to those who get up early in the morning.
It was a few years ago when I had lost a high paying my job which had me emotionally and mentally drained. I started off on a journey of self development and discovery. How does one turn around things in life? Why don’t we get what we want in, life? How does one control the turn of events in one’s life? What’s the secret of success and how does one work on the sub conscious mind?
I started my journey of meditation and inner healing. How does one increase focus, work on ones passion and get creative. I got into Raj Yoga and my spiritual guru taught me the importance of getting up at 4 am. It seems that’s the time when you can actually meditate and connect with God. Your sub conscious mind can connect with the universe and you can ask for what you truly desire. The negative forces of the universe are all asleep and the positive vibes are the strongest.
You can meditate, write, exercise or work on your passions.
Now this is easier said than done. Getting up at pre dawn might be too difficult for many of us. Chances are you might put off the alarm and snuggle into bed. Or you might go back to sleep after an hour or so.
For me initially it sounded too difficult. But later it became a habit. Changing your body clock might take a few days. It is also about training your subconscious mind. So much so that you might not even need an alarm clock after a few days. You need to program you mind  before you sleep and decide to get up at 4.
It also depends on how motivated you are as a person. And how busy you are during the day. Are you a student preparing for your boards or a mother trying to juggle many roles. A CEO wanting to scale up his company.
As research suggests, the most successful people wake up between 4 to 6 am. It is a super habit that one needs to cultivate to achieve the most from your life.
Initially it sounded too difficult. Changing your body clock might take a few days but if you train your subconscious mind and before you sleep decide to get up at 4 then maybe you can.
Many of the successful CEOs and Entrepreneurs swear by the 4’o clock club. Getting up so weary increases your day by a few hours. You can plan your day ahead and do the most important things in the morning.
Benjamin Franklin, Obama, Charles Darwin, Robin Sharma, Bill Gates, Lexy Funk, Jack Dorsey (Twitter), Richard Branson. Others like Dave Cush (Virgin), Robert Iger (CEO Disney), Padmasree Warrior, Michelle Gass (Starbucks) or Andrea Jung (Avon) at 4:30 am. There are even some like Tim Cook, Dan Lee or Brett Yormark (New York Jets) who get up at 3: 30-3: 45 am. Although few outperform Margaret Thatcher, who barely slept between three and four hours a day.
