Looks like, there’s no stopping this deadly Coronavirus. Inspite of all precautions being taken, people and celebs are testing positive for it.
Yesterday, as reported by Redif.com megastar Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Coronavirus. Amitabh, 77 tweeted
“I have tested Covid positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited.
All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested,” he added.
He has been moved to the isolation ward of the hospital, Nanavati Hospital sources.
Soon after his father posted his tweet, quelling speculation about his health, Abhishek also tweeted.
“Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for Covid 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you,” Abhishek tweeted.
“The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them,”
One of the most loved actors in Bollywood, Amitabhji is a source of inspiration for millions in the country. The actor has been very active on social media since the lockdown. The film fraternity has reached out to him through the social media with their wishes.
The actor was working closely with the government in creating awareness about the pandemic, has been frequently posting on Twitter and Instagram as well as his blog, sharing advice on a range of issues

The selection process for Kaun Banega Crorepati had begun through the online process in the month of May and June. The makers were waiting to begin the shoot with Amitabh Bachchan. However, with the government’s age related restrictions, the shooting has been delayed and now the actor himself testing positive for the Coronavirus, it cannot resume shooting now.
