Donald Trump is touted as one of the `richest billionaire Presidents’ of the United States. Known for his Trump Towers around the world and his award winning reality show, `The Apprentice’, Trump is a brand to reckon with.
However, he has come under severe criticism for his understanding and handling of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Initially, he played down the threat, stating repeatedly that “we have it under control” and “it will all work out well”. “We will soon have a vaccine and we will not do a lockdown.”
So much so, that today America has become the epicenter for the virus.
It was only in March that the President addressed the nation from the Oval Office and acknowledged the threat of the virus as` horrible’ and `serious.’
The C.D.C has recommended that the President should also wear a mask. But on April 3 he announced, `I probably won’t follow the guidelines. I don’t see myself wearing a mask. In my office, I meet Presidents, Prime Ministers, Dictators, Kings and Queens. Maybe, later i might change my mind.”
Point taken…Mr President !
