After the Kerala Medical students It’s now our own Desi Rapper Baba Sehgal doing a Rasputin. He occupied the top spot on the trends list after he released his version of Boney M’s 1978 hit song Rasputin to spread awareness about Covid-19.
In a post on Twitter, Baba Sehgal shared a video of his Hindi song, titled Protein, which is swiftly going viral on social media.
Through the lyrics of his song, Baba Sehgal asked people to wear masks and also wash hands frequently in order to contain the spread of the deadly virus.

Rasputin is a song by Germany based Pop and Euro disco group Boney M. It was released on 28 August 1978 as the second single from their third studio album Nightflight to Venus (1978). Written by the group’s creator Frank Farian, along with George Reyam and Fred Jay, it is a song about Grigori Rasputin, a friend and advisor of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and his family during the early 20th century. The song describes Raputin as a playboy, mystical healer and a political manipulator.
